Michael Wood

Michael has 29 years of experience in the real estate industry and is the President and managing Broker of WOOD AGENCY REALTORS, INC.. Michael has been accredited through the National Association of Realtors as a Graduate Realtor. The educational foundation of this program includes 90 hours of coursework on topics of marketing, servicing listed properties and real estate law.

Michael has served as the Vice-President for the Knoxville Association of Realtors and was also on the Board of Directors. He is the President of WOOD Development Group, L.L.C. and President of the Commercial Division of WOOD REALTORS®. In his development capacity, Michael specializes in commercial brokerage and investment properties, along with land development. His knowledge and involvement includes development and construction of subdivisions, multi-family and tax credit housing, and medical and assisted living housing. In order to serve your commercial needs Michael is a member of the Knoxville Association of REALTORS® Commercial Investment Division, COMMERCIALAND™, and LoopNet®.

As our Broker, all of us at WOOD Realtors® agree that Michael has excellent communication skills, is open to new and innovative ideas, and is fair minded. He provides in house training and education for us, and encourages us to attend educational and sales courses by attending them himself.

Michael is married, enjoys spending his time with his family and is actively involved in Christian Ministry. Having boundless energy, Michael loves most all outdoor activities and plays golf.
